I’ve Gone below the Threshold for my Industry for the Year - Can I Stop Reporting?

Generally, an operator must show three continuous years of emissions below the threshold.

Cessation of Reporting: For stationary combustion facilities, if the operator can show their facility has emitted less than 20,000 metric tonnes of CO2 for three full years, that facility may no longer report

• For electricity generating or cogeneration facilities, if the operator can show their emissions fell below 2,000 metric tons for three years, they are also exempt.
